Custom Software Development

/ How We Do It

Business Process Scoping

We ask questions, we learn your language and environment before we ever start writing code. With a common communication framework, we are able to clearly define the best way forward, considering budget, timelines and desired outcomes.

Agile Product Development

Once a solution is clearly identified, it is time to deploy a development methodology for success. Agile allows rapid development, constant improvement, and quality outcomes.

Hybrid Team Sourcing

With a seasoned team of professionals on-shore and off-shore, and many times combined with internal resources, we can build a high performance team across the entire group to maximize efficiency, velocity, quality, with a goal of long term ownership and value.

Custom Engagement Models

Fixed fee, time and materials, not to exceed, blended rates, etc., we speak the language of your business model. We recognize the investment in software is significant in every aspect, and we aim to meet your budgets, timelines and experience. We target mutual low-risk engagements that have successful milestones with measureable ROI.

The Process

The base Scrum process is best described by the figure below. Most projects have a list of requirements (type of system, planning items, type of application, development environment, user considerations, etc.) Scrum records requirements in a Product Backlog. Requirements need not be precise nor do they need to be described fully. As with most projects, the requirements are sourced from the expected users or the business. The Product Owner prioritizes the Product Backlog: items of importance to the project/business, i.e. those items that add immediate and significant business value, are bubbled up to the top.
